Rice pudding recipe



Rice pudding recipe.

You will need:
  • 30g unsalted butter
  • 75g pudding rice
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 600ml milk
  • 2 drops vanilla extract
  • a pinch of nutmeg


Method
  1. Preheat the oven to 150c
  2. Place the rice, sugar, milk and vanilla extract into a large oven proof dish
  3. Dot with the butter and sprinkle over the nutmeg
  4. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes, until the rice is well cooked.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
